Galicia is an autonomous community in northwest Spain, with the official status of a nationality. It comprises the provinces of A Coruña, Lugo, Ourense and Pontevedra, being bordered by Portugal to the south, the Spanish autonomous communities of Castile and León and Asturias to the east, the Atlantic Ocean to the west, and the Bay of Biscay to the north. It has a population in 2012 of 2,778,913, and has a total area of 29,574 sq.km. Galicia has over 1,660 km. of coastline, including its offshore islands and islets.

The sea Galicia has also defined this singular landscape, with a wider range of stunning coastline offering great biodiversity which include wide sweeping Beaches  with fine white sand.

And hidden away coves, spectacular cliffs and beautiful islands and islets, as well as the characteristic rías or estuaries which represent one of the most distinctive feature of Galicia. This landscape, so entangled with the unique cultural heritage offered by the sea and fishing. You can visit and enjoy throughout the year.
